Cochin Shipyard Ltd. receives contract for Design and Construction of 23 boats for the Kochi Water Metro Project.

Pursuant to the receipt of Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) for building 23 boats for the Kochi Water Metro Project, the contract for design and construction of 23 nos. of Hybrid-Electric Passenger Ferries has been signed between Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and KMRL on October 29, 2019 at Kochi. The value of the contract is Rs. 175.70 crore.
