CM to inaugurate projects today.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the bridge across the Tungabhadra linking Hampi and Anegundi, lay foundation stone for a model engineering college at Talakal, and also set in motion various development projects in Koppal district.

The bridge, costing ₹40.38 crore, had to be built near Bukkasagar in Hosapete taluk linking Kadebagilu of Gangavati taluk after the controversial cable-stayed bridge under construction near Talwarghatta, upstream of river Tungabhadra, collapsed in January 2009.

Mr. Siddaramaiah will also flag off drinking water works, and inaugurate a building at Koppal Institute of Medical Science, a hospital at Kukanur, and a guesthouse at Koppal city.

Meanwhile, the entire city is getting spruced up for the mega event with Basavaraj Rayaraddi, Minister for Higher Education, overseeing the preparations.
