Chennai Water Board Awards ₹258 Crore Project to SPML Infra-JWIL.

SPML Infra, a publicly listed infrastructure development company specializing in water and energy sectors, has secured a significant new project valued at ₹258 crore from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB).

The project was awarded to a consortium formed by SPML Infra Limited (26% stake) and JWIL Infra Limited (74% stake). The consortium successfully emerged as the lowest bidder, leading to the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the critical infrastructure development.

These essential works will primarily focus on enhancing water supply and sewerage infrastructure in the Chennai townships of Perur and Porur. The project is expected to contribute significantly to improving civic amenities and water management for residents in these rapidly developing areas.
