CG Power Subsidiary Wins ₹500-600 Crore KAVACH Railway Order.
G.G. Tronics India, a subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions, has secured a major ₹500-600 crore order from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works for the supply of KAVACH railway safety equipment, the company announced recently.
The order involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of onboard KAVACH systems for Indian Railways, which includes complete wiring, harnessing, cabling, and integration with the Loco KAVACH system. The project is set to be executed within one year.
G.G. Tronics, headquartered in Bengaluru, specializes in electronic safety and embedded signaling systems for railways. As a developmental vendor for the Train Collision Avoidance System (KAVACH), the company is playing a pivotal role in enhancing the safety infrastructure of Indian Railways.
CG Power, the parent company, operates across industrial and power systems sectors, with manufacturing plants in nine locations across India and one in Sweden. The company reported a consolidated revenue of ₹8,046 crore for FY 2024 and has been part of the Murugappa Group since November 2020.
This significant order further strengthens G.G. Tronics’ position as a key player in India’s railway safety and signaling industry.
