Carraro India Announces ₹300-Crore Investment to Scale Operations.
Carraro India, the Indian arm of Italy-based driveline manufacturer Carraro Group, is set to invest about ₹300 crore over the next three years to expand its manufacturing capacity, amid a shift in India’s farm mechanisation towards higher-horsepower and electric platforms, industry sources told businessline.
A key supplier to leading tractor makers such as Mahindra & Mahindra and Escorts Kubota, the company plans to invest around ₹100 crore annually starting FY27. The capital expenditure will be used to debottleneck assembly lines, add new capacity, and prepare for upcoming programmes from global tractor and construction equipment manufacturers.
With a ready 53-acre land bank and integrated gear manufacturing and paint facilities in place, Carraro India is positioned to scale up operations without undertaking major greenfield investments.
Following these planned capex measures, the company expects revenue of about €220 million (₹2,200 crore) in FY26, up from €200 million last year. It is targeting annual revenue of more than ₹3,500 crore by FY30, backed by strong order visibility and increasing localisation.
