Cabinet Approves Tender for Multiple Infrastructure Projects.

The Cabinet approved several key initiatives recently, including the authorization for the executive director of Jalanidhi to approve tenders for the reinstatement of the drinking water pipeline from Badiyadukka to Sulliapadavu. This project aims to enhance water supply for Bellur Grama Panchayat in Kasaragod.

In a notable employment decision, Sandhyarani, a lower primary school assistant at Venganoor Government Model HSS, will be allowed to continue her service in a supernumerary post under the Disability Act. This position will be created from the date of her disability, December 19, 2023, and will remain in place until she is able to return to her original role or retires.

Additionally, the Cabinet waived the stamp duty for registering the lease deed of 2.75 acres of land in Thoppumpady village, Kochi taluk, which has been leased by Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation Limited from Cochin Port Authority for a period of 30 years, starting from December 1, 2012.

Furthermore, tenders for road works in the Eravipuram constituency and water resource projects in the Angamaly constituency have also been approved, marking significant steps toward local infrastructure development.
