Brigade signs contract with IHG

Bangalore: Brigade Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Brigade Enterprises, focusing on the development of residential, commercial and hospitality properties, has signed a management contract with InterContinental Hotels Group for a new holiday inn hotel called Holiday Inn Bangalore International Airport. The proposed hotel with 250 rooms will be developed near the new Bangalore International Airport at Devanahalli. The new hotel will start its operations in the early part of 2010. Mr M.R. Jaishankar, Chairman and Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises, said: “We are glad to have partnered with Intercontinental Hotels Group to develop this hotel in Bangalore. It has been our constant endeavour to provide high end hospitality service with trademark Brigade quality. Mr Michael Herrmann, Director of Operations, IHG, said: “We are extremely delighted to foray into Bangalore, studded with IT and ITeS, pharmaceutical and biotech industries.”
