Bihar to revive three power projects

Bihar is to revive three proposed power projects at Pirpainty (Bhagalpur), Chausa (Buxar) and Kajra (Lakhisarai) in near future. Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) has decided to invite fresh bids for these projects.

BSEB has opted for location-specific bidding for these three projects for super critical plants (2x660MW each). BSEB has already acquired land as well as completed water linkage for the project.

The government has written to the Union ministry for coal for providing coal linkage.
