Berger Paints India Ltd gets land allotment for new facility in Odisha

The Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (a Government of Odisha undertaking) has allocated approximately 80 acres of land in Mouza Kalibeti, under Khordha Tahasil in the District of Khordha, Odisha, to Berger Paints India Limited (Berger) for the establishment of a manufacturing unit. The unit will focus on producing paints, intermediates, and allied products, with an expected annual capacity of around 4,10,000 KL/MT.

Berger intends to construct a modern technology-based environmentally sustainable facility for the manufacturing of paints, coatings, construction chemicals, intermediates including emulsions, resins, and related products on the allotted land.

The foundation stone laying ceremony for Berger's proposed manufacturing facility, as well as the groundbreaking ceremony, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 15th February 2024, at 4:00 PM. The event will be graced by the presence of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha, along with senior government dignitaries and officials from Berger.
