BEL's Q1 Order Book Surges to Nearly ₹75,000 Crore, PAT Up 25%.

Public sector undertaking Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has announced a robust performance for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, reporting a 24.87 percent year-on-year rise in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹969.13 crore.

The defence electronics major also saw its revenue from operations increase by 5.19 percent to ₹4,416.83 crore compared to the same period last year. Profit before tax (PBT) also demonstrated healthy growth, climbing to ₹1,289.24 crore from ₹1,037.34 crore in Q1 FY25.

As of July 1, 2025, BEL's order book stood impressively at ₹74,859 crore, indicating a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth prospects for the company. These strong Q1 results position BEL favorably for the rest of the fiscal year, underscoring its pivotal role in India's defence and electronics sectors.
