"Balasore and Balangir to Receive Rs336.5 Crore Funding Through 'Ama Odisha' Initiative"
In a significant development, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik unveiled the 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha' scheme on Tuesday, focusing on the districts of Balasore and Balangir. The scheme's launch involves the allocation of funds for a total of 8,376 projects across both districts, amounting to Rs 336.5 crore.
For Balasore, a substantial sum of Rs 178 crore has been sanctioned, supporting the implementation of 4,465 development projects. Simultaneously, Balangir will receive Rs 158.50 crore, designated for the execution of 3,911 projects. Notably, each panchayat within the districts will be allocated Rs 50 lakh as part of this comprehensive initiative.
The 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha' scheme reflects the state government's commitment to fostering development and growth at the grassroots level, empowering local communities and enhancing the quality of life for residents in Balasore and Balangir.
