Azad Engineering Secures Major Order from Japan's Mitsubishi.

Azad Engineering Limited has signed a significant long-term contract with Japan-based Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), valued at approximately ₹700 crore ($82.89 million). The agreement focuses on the supply of highly engineered and complex rotating and stationary airfoils for advanced gas and thermal power turbine engines, catering to MHI's global demand in the power generation sector.

In an exchange filing on Sunday, the company emphasized that this contract represents a crucial step in solidifying its long-term strategic relationship with MHI. The execution of this order is expected to span five years.

This contract follows another recent achievement for Azad Engineering, which on September 24 announced a $16 million order from Honeywell Aerospace ISC in the USA for the manufacturing and supply of complex components for the aviation industry.

As a prominent manufacturer of qualified product lines, Azad Engineering supplies original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across the aerospace, defense, energy, and oil and gas sectors. The company specializes in creating highly engineered, complex, and mission-critical components, adhering to stringent quality standards that often require zero defects.

Its aerospace and defense portfolio includes airfoils, blades, and components for engines, auxiliary power units (APUs), hydraulic systems, flight controls, and fuel and inerting systems for commercial and defense aircraft, in addition to critical components for missiles and spacecraft.
