AstraZeneca Signs MoU with Telangana Government for AI-Powered Lung Cancer Screening Initiative.

AstraZeneca Pharma India recently announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Telangana to roll out AI-enabled lung cancer screening across public healthcare facilities in the state.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening early detection of lung cancer and improving patient outcomes, particularly by expanding access to advanced diagnostic tools in both urban and rural areas.

As part of the collaboration, AstraZeneca will support the deployment of an AI-powered chest X-ray solution developed by Qure.ai. The technology will be integrated into routine clinical workflows across public health facilities in Telangana, enabling faster and more accurate screening for lung cancer.
