Aster DM Healthcare Announces ₹250 Crore Expansion Plan for Aster CMI Hospital

Aster DM Healthcare Limited, a prominent healthcare provider in India, has revealed its ambitious expansion blueprint for Aster CMI Hospital, a renowned multispecialty hospital situated in Bengaluru. The expansion project entails adding an additional 300,000 square feet to the hospital's infrastructure, requiring an investment of approximately ₹250 crore.

The primary objective of this expansion initiative is to escalate the hospital's bed capacity from the existing 500 to 850 beds by the fiscal year 2027. This strategic move aligns with Aster's overarching mission of positioning itself as the third-largest healthcare player in India within the next three years.

Occupying a sprawling area of 4.45 lakh square feet, Aster CMI Hospital, nestled in Hebbal, Bangalore, has been at the forefront of delivering quality healthcare services since its inception in 2016. Currently, Aster DM Healthcare Limited operates 19 hospitals with 4867 beds, 13 clinics, 215 pharmacies (operated by Alfaone Retail Pharmacies Private Limited under brand license from Aster), and 232 labs and patient experience centers across six states in India.
