Asipac group to design resort-cum-IT park in Brazil

Bangalore: Asipac Group, a Bangalore-based real estate project marketing company, has been invited to conceptualise, plan and design a beach front resort-cum-IT park for Estrela, a Sao Paolo-based real estate development firm.

The 25-million-sq-ft project will come up in virgin sea-facing land covering 6,300 acres of land at Natal, a tourist destination in North Brazil. The project would have 3,200 acres of developable area and 32 million sq ft of built up area.

Mr Amit Bagaria, Chairman and CEO, Asipac Group, told presspersons here that Asipac along with another global firm would work on the project. Though Asipac has still not formally been signed on as design partner, Mr Bagaria is confident of bagging the assignment as “Mr Albertoni Bloisi, the promoter, is very keen to work with an Indian company,” he said.

The $3.2-billion real estate project will have eight hotels, two golf courses, a convention centre, a spa and an IT park and is expected to be ready in seven years, Mr Bagaria said.
