Apeejay hotel plans Rs.1500 Crore expansion

Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, which operates the luxury hotel chain 'The Park', has rolled out a
Rs 1,500-crore expansion plan to double its room capacity to 2,200 rooms within the coming five years

The company plan to add nearly 850 rooms through our own properties while the remaining 250-odd hotels would be through managed properties.

Of these five hotels, the ones in Goa (to be inaugurated later this month) and Kochi (July 2012) will be managed properties. The remaining three –Kolkata, Jaipur and Pune – will be owned and managed by the group.
