Ambuja Cements Limited has commissioned a 2.4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) brownfield expansion of its cement grinding unit at Marwar Mundwa in Rajasthan, strengthening its manufacturing footprint in the region.

Following the commissioning of the expanded facility, the company’s consolidated cement capacity has increased to 108.85 MTPA. The expansion forms part of Ambuja Cements’ strategy to scale up capacity and improve operational efficiencies to meet growing demand across key markets.

The Marwar Mundwa unit is expected to support the company’s supply capabilities in western and northern India while reinforcing its long-term growth plans in the domestic cement sector.
