Alstom T&D bags Rs 41 crore sub-Station contract from PowerGrid

Alstom T&D India , an arm of French firm Alstom, today said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 41 crore from PowerGrid Corp for setting up transmission network at Daltonganj in Jharkhand.

The equipment for the substation will be delivered from Alstom T&D India's manufacturing facilities located at Padappai (Chennai), Pallavaram (Chennai), Hosur (Tamilnadu) and Noida.
