Alstom hands over first Rapid Rail trainset to NCRTC.

Alstom has successfully handed over India’s first semi high-speed regional trainset to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) recently.

This train will ply on the first phase of the 82.5 kilometre long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS). The rollout ceremony was held at Alstom’s manufacturing unit at Savli in Gujarat.
