Akshaya enters automated housing sector

New Delhi: Property developer Akshaya Homes announced its foray into fully-automated housing sector, with the construction of four flats of 3000 sq feet each in Chennai.

The flats would have a home server box, wifi connectivity, digital answering machines, small card based access to home, main gate security and visitor tracking system, stand alone video surveillance, visitors log when the home was locked and tracking of events among others, the company's Managing Director Chitty Babu said.

If a house is intruded upon, digital answering machine would immediately alert the owners by calling them automatically in three registered telephone numbers, besides raising an alarm, he said. Each flat would cost Rs 4.5 crore, he added.
