Airtel-GVMC takes up greenery project in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: Airtel and the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) have taken up a greenery project named 'Go green' to plant more than a 1,000 trees in the city.

Airtel is contributing Rs 10 lakh to provide tree guards.

The project would reduce pollution in the city and add to its beauty. Also, Vizag was emerging a hot tourist destination and Airtel would do its bit to improve the city as a part of its social responsibility.
