ACME Solar Places India's Largest Battery Storage Order of Over 3.1 GWh.

ACME Solar Holdings announced today it has placed an order for over 3.1 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment from global suppliers Zhejiang Narada and Trina Storage. This procurement marks one of India’s largest battery storage orders to date, signaling a major push in the country's renewable energy sector.

The Gurugram-based renewable energy company stated that these systems are crucial for supporting the deployment of multiple Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) and battery-linked projects. These projects are slated for commissioning over the next 12-18 months across several Indian states.

Delivery of the BESS equipment is planned in phases, with shipments expected over the next four to eight months of the current fiscal year. ACME Solar highlighted that the order value falls within its budgeted costs, while maintaining a strong focus on technical performance and supplier reliability. The company anticipates that this early procurement will significantly accelerate its project execution timelines and enable faster revenue realization.
