ACME Solar Increases Gujarat Wind Project Capacity by 8 MW, Reaches 52 MW.

ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned an additional 8 MW at its wind power project in Surendranagar, Gujarat, raising the facility’s operational capacity to 52 MW out of a planned 100 MW. The commissioning, carried out through subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy, was witnessed by officials from GEDA and PGVCL on December 17, with formal certification expected shortly.

This latest phase marks the third stage of the project, following the earlier commissioning of 44 MW. The addition also increases ACME Solar’s total operational renewable energy capacity to 2,942 MW.

The Surendranagar wind project is being developed in phases using SANY’s 4 MW turbines, with construction managed by ACME’s in-house EPC division. Financing for the development has been provided by Power Finance Corporation.
