61 infra projects completed in Maidan-Wardak

Wardak: The National Solidarity Program in Maidan-Wardak province successfully completed the implementation of sixty-one infrastructure projects at the total cost of over 48 million Afghanis.

Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development through National Solidarity Program with the cooperation of the Swedish Committee implemented these projects.

The 35 projects in Sayad Abad district included, seven solar-power, four drinking water, two diesel power, five culverts, five vocational training, two road constructions, nine canals cleaning and one water intake.

And the 26 project of Bihsood district were: 10 solar-powers, two water storage, and three for cooking utensil, one drinking water well, one culvert and nine canals cleaning.

It is said that about 2000 families will benefit from these projects, in which the communities contributed up to 10 percent.
