Two road projects inaugurated in Karachi

Karachi: City District Government Karachi (CDGK) inaugurates two roads, one from Teen Hatti to Jail Chowrangi and other from Guru Mander to Jail Main Gate built with the cost of Rs 250 million.

Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan said the development projects are being executed in the city under long-term planning which has been acknowledged at national and international levels. He was talking to media after the inaugural of the two roads.

Among other notables, Nazim Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal was also present. Dr. Ibad said the CDGK under the leadership of Nazim Karachi, Mustafa Kamal has played a vibrant role in development of city and has introduced a positive tradition because it has not only installed the plaques of the projects but the inauguration of the projects is being done after completion and opening of facility for the people.

He was of the view only one project is not launched but a series of development works has initiated and the journey of the development will remain continue till reaching to the destination.

He said a big positive change is being observed in a short spam of time in the city with regard to development projects. Those people, who are visiting metropolis after gap of two or three years are expressing about change in the city, he added.

Congratulating Nazim Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal, he said the performance of Kamal is being acknowledged at international level. The Governor of Sindh said that the world was accepting that the Nazim Karachi was among the best mayors in the globe.

Speaking about the inaugurated two roads, he said that present roads were built under long-term planning and prior to the construction sewerage and water supply lines have been installed to resolve water supply and sewerage.

He informed that the roads have been completed with the cost of Rs 250 million and people reside beside the roads will not face problems during the rain. Nazim Karachi, Mustafa Kamal also briefed the Sindh governor about both the roads.

Mustafa Kamal said both the roads are situated in the center of the city, where various problems including traffic ones are exist and CDGK has completed both the projects under long-term planning.
