Ubona Technologies receives investment from Capital 18

Mumbai: Ubona Technologies, a provider of speech recognition solutions for businesses and consumers in India, has received Series A investment from Capital 18, the venture capital and private equity arm of media conglomerate Network 18.

Bangalore-based Ubona Technologies was formed with the charter of creating a new interactive medium which will be able to comprehend people’s speech. Ubona’s technology and services enables discovery and transaction with compelling user experience by allowing users to speak his need.

Ubona offers its solution to the customers both in hosted and on-premise model. The company has since been working with a wide range of leading corporates in verticals including finance, travel and entertainment, mobile operators and media companies to create and help them deploy innovative services enabling increased reach and reduced costs.
