Telangana Partners with Japan's Kitakyushu for Eco-Friendly Development.

The Government of Telangana and Kitakyushu City, Japan, have officially signed a cooperative agreement aimed at fostering stronger relations and driving inclusive economic growth, zero emissions, and urban innovation between Telangana and Japan.

During the state's formation day celebrations in Hyderabad, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy welcomed the Japanese delegation, emphasizing Telangana's commitment to rapid development through global partnerships.

Chief Minister Reddy highlighted his recent tour of Japan, where he studied Kitakyushu City's development model. He specifically noted that the city's "eco-town model" had deeply inspired him, signaling Telangana's intent to adopt similar sustainable urban development strategies.

This pact is expected to open avenues for collaboration in various sectors, including environmental technologies, urban planning, and sustainable industrial practices, aligning with Telangana's vision for green growth and Kitakyushu's established expertise in ecological development.
