Tamil Nadu deputy CM reviews slum clearance board projects.

Tamil Nadu deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam, who holds housing and urban development portfolio, Recently reviewed projects implemented by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board (TNSCB).

A press release said projects executed through the Housing for All Scheme, those implemented under the financial assistance from the World Bank and Asian Development Bank for urban poor, were discussed on the occasion.

The deputy chief minister asked the concerned officials to speed up the progress of projects to finish them within the scheduled deadline.

Housing and urban development secretary Rajesh Lakhoni, TNSCB managing director R Kirlosh Kumar and senior officials from the board participated in the review meeting.
