Mahindra World City Developers Limited (MWCDL) has entered into a significant agreement with Tamil Nadu, outlining investments exceeding Rs. 1,000 crore over the next five years. The real estate and infrastructure company's investments are poised to create employment opportunities for over 2,000 individuals in the state. This commitment aligns with the launch of Origins by Mahindra – Phase II at Eliambedu village in Chennai, serving as the catalyst for the envisioned investment.
Building on the success of the initial phase, Mahindra World City has already established its presence in the district. Originating across 307 acres, Origins by Mahindra has emerged as a favored industrial hub, attracting renowned Japanese and Taiwanese enterprises. Notable companies like Yanmar Engine Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd., Nissei Electric India, USUI Susira International, Mitsubishi Electric, OMRON Healthcare, Track Designs India, INTJR Precision Technology, Autogrip Machinery India, Masano Seiki Pvt. Ltd, and Ashirvad Pipes have chosen this location for their operations.
