ITC to set up packaged food unit.

ITC Ltd will set up a production unit in the north-east region for its packaged food items. The manufacturing unit would be run by ITC's newest 76 per cent subsidiary - North East Nutrients Pvt Ltd. The manufacturing plant is expected to be ready by next year. ITC has acquired 15,200 shares of Rs.10 each for cash at par of North East Nutrients, representing 76 per cent of its paid-up share capital.
