Avantel Launches ₹56-Crore Defence and Satellite Systems Facility in Hyderabad.

Satellite communications and defence electronics firm Avantel recently announced the inauguration of its second facility in Hyderabad, with an investment of over ₹56 crore.

The new facility, spread across 76,000 square feet, will focus on the design, development, and manufacturing of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), radar systems, and satellite integration, according to a company statement.

The facility will also support Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) of satellites and facilitate the establishment of Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) for satellite data reception, enhancing Avantel’s capabilities in the defence and satellite sectors.
