Assocham, Eiwat sign pact for energy parks

New Delhi: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) has signed an agreement with Japanese firm Eiwat for transferring technology for setting up renewable energy parks in India.

Tokyo-based Eiwat develops technologies in renewable energy, designs energy parks and promotes non-conventional energy worldwide.

Eiwat will design parks for India to encourage eco-friendly technologies. In addition, Eiwat and Assocham will assist each other in organising business delegations and facilitating business contacts in their respective countries.
