Tender out to build $250m Oman Cultural Complex.

Oman Tender Board has invited international construction companies to bid for the contract to build the $250mn (OR:96.26mn) Oman Cultural Complex in Muscat.

The float is not long after the Tender Board appointed UK-based consultancy Mace as the project manager.

The OCC was a concept developed by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture to establish a national centre of culture as part of a wider strategy in Oman of promoting cultural and artiistic innovation.

The centre will house three buildings that are all said to be of 'major national interest'.
