Shanahan wins deal for Saudi Aramco's Jazan gas project.

Shanahan Engineering has been awarded a services contract by Shandong Electric Power Construction Engineering Company (SEPCO-2).

The deal is for the construction of the Aramco’s gasification project in Jazan, Saudi Arabia.

Shanahan will work with Sepco-2 on the Jazan integrated gasification combined cycle (JIGCC) power block.

The agreement includes the supply of a commissioning management team, as well as its commissioning management programme, according to the company’s statement.

The new facility once completed will supply more than 2,500 megawatts of power, using the technology provided by Siemens.
