RailTel Secures Multiple Orders Worth ₹221 Crore.

RailTel has secured multiple work orders totaling ₹221 crore, including projects in education, power, and defense.

The first order, worth ₹15.98 crore, comes from the Department of Education Samagra Shiksha under the STARS initiative. RailTel will set up Robotics, Drone, and Atal Tinkering Labs in 160 government schools across Himachal Pradesh, with completion targeted by November 30, 2025.

The second order, valued at ₹104.16 crore, has been awarded by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MSPGCL). RailTel will upgrade the IT network infrastructure for nine power plants and three offices, modernizing them with the latest technology. The project is expected to be completed by January 30, 2030.

Additionally, RailTel has received a ₹100.33 crore contract from a defense PSU to establish a Data Centre (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Centre. The execution deadline for this project is May 30, 2025.

These orders further strengthen RailTel’s position as a key player in India’s digital infrastructure and IT services sector.
