KIIFB Drives Kerala’s ₹1.16 Lakh Crore Infrastructure Push Over a Decade: CM.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan recently said that both urban and rural areas of Kerala are reaping the benefits of development, noting that infrastructure projects worth ₹1.16 lakh crore have been implemented through the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) over the past decade.

The CM made the remarks while inaugurating the development of Vattiyoorkavu Junction and its adjoining roads, as well as the construction of a rehabilitation complex for traders displaced due to land acquisition. In addition, he inaugurated public works department projects valued at ₹283 crore within the assembly constituency.

“These projects reflect our commitment to balanced growth across the state, ensuring both urban and rural communities benefit from improved infrastructure,” Vijayan said.
