Jyoti Structures Ltd Energizes 400 kV Gadag-II Transmission Line.

Jyoti Structures Limited has announced the successful completion and commissioning of the 400 kV Gadag-II Transmission Line Project for Renew Power in Karnataka.

The project spans approximately 100 CKM of twin High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) transmission lines connecting the Gadag Pooling Station and Koppal Pooling Station. The route passes through challenging Right of Way (ROW) districts, including Koppal and Gadag, and navigates difficult interior areas with black cotton soil conditions.

This transmission line forms part of the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) designed for the evacuation of power from renewable energy sources in the Koppal Solar Energy Zone, which has a capacity of 1,500 MW.

The successful commissioning of the Gadag-II project is expected to enhance renewable power evacuation and contribute significantly towards India’s renewable energy targets.
