Mumbai, Delhi to set up helicopter corridors
New Delhi: Delhi and Mumbai airports will have dedicated air corridors for operating helicopters.
The proposed corridor will not allow fixed wing aircraft for ensuring better safety and increasing capacity and efficiency for the operations.
Mumbai and Delhi have higher helicopter operations. Presently, the plan is yet to be finalised by Airport Authority of India as it has to provide suitable infrastructure for operating the corridor.
