Think Gas Commits ₹10,000 Crore to Bolster Gas Infrastructure in Next 5 Years.

City Gas Distribution (CGD) company Think Gas (formerly AG&P Pratham) is set to invest a substantial ₹10,000 crore over the next five years to significantly expand its footprint across India. This ambitious plan was shared by Chiradeep Dutta, Director and Chief Operating Officer of Think Gas, in an interaction with BusinessLine.

Think Gas has already invested over $1 billion in the past four years. The new investment will be directed towards ramping up its infrastructure, aiming to build a network of over 24,000-inch kilometers of steel pipelines from the current 20,000-inch kilometers. The company also plans to increase its number of CNG stations to over 2,000 from the current count of more than 500.

Currently, Think Gas boasts a revenue of around ₹2,000 crore, and Dutta anticipates a consistent growth rate of 7-8 percent in the coming years, underscoring the company's confidence in the burgeoning demand for city gas services in the country.
