Sialkot to get three-Marla housing scheme

Sialkot: Federal Population Welfare Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has disclosed that three-Marla housing scheme would be introduced in Sialkot district aimed at accommodating the low-income group of the area.

Dr Firdous Awan revealed that Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani had sanctioned a special package amounting Rs 350 million for the construction of a road network, educational institutions, electricity, Sui gas and health projects in NA-111.

The Federal Minister said the government was mobilising all resources and modes for extending maximum relief to the masses on top priority basis, adding that recent reduction in electricity tariff would give relief to the poor stigma of the society.
