RLJ Cement Ltd. Announces Major Expansion of Cement Production Capacity.

RLJ Cement Limited has successfully increased its cement production capacity at its plant in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, by 0.204 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). The expansion, which is now operational, brings RLJ Cement's total capacity to 0.50 MTPA.

This move is part of a non-exclusive supply agreement between RLJ Cement and Prism Johnson Limited. Under this arrangement, RLJ Cement manufactures and supplies cement that meets Prism Cement's quality standards for onward sale to its customers.

While the planned expansion was for 0.36 MTPA, the initial phase has boosted Prism Johnson's total outsourced grinding capacity through various agreements to 1.37 MTPA, up from the previous 1.17 MTPA.
