RITES Ltd Secures Contract from NTPC.

RITES Limited has been awarded a rate contract by NTPC Limited for the hiring of diesel locomotives on a lease basis to serve NTPC power plants across India.

Under the agreement, individual NTPC stations will issue separate purchase orders during the contract’s validity period, specifying requirements such as quantity, timelines, and cost for execution.

The indicative value of the contract stands at ₹78.65 crore (excluding GST), with the final order value depending on the actual demand from various NTPC plants.

This contract strengthens RITES’ role in supporting rail logistics for India’s largest power producer.
