Rajapalayam Mills Ltd. commissions Fabric Expansion & Fabric Processing Unit.

Rajapalayam Mills Ltd. has commissioned Fabric Expansion Unit & Fabric processing Unit for commercial production. New Unit's commissioned today is having a weaving capacity of 166 Nos. of Looms and fabric processing capacity of 50,000 meters per day. Now, the company is capable of offering Finished - ready to stitch apparel fabrics.

To ensure Pollution free environment and commitment to Sustainability, the above unit is equipped with following:

Zero liquid discharge system with anaerobic bio treatment infrastructure aimed to reduce generation of hazardous chemical sludge significantly. The facility includes heat recovery from exhaust stenter hot air and hot water drain.

The Project cost of both Fabric expansion and Fabric processing as on 31-08-2023 was Rs. 332 Crores.
