PVR INOX Launches 10-Screen Megaplex in Borivali, Mumbai.

PVR INOX, India’s largest cinema company, has launched a state-of-the-art 10-screen megaplex at the new Sky City Mall in Borivali East. This flagship location, developed under PVR INOX's direct investment model, is designed to be a premier entertainment destination for Mumbai residents.

The new megaplex, sprawling across 43,500 square feet, features 10 uniquely designed auditoriums with a total seating capacity of 1,374. The cinema boasts a diverse mix of formats, including two premium Insignia auditoriums, an IMAX with Laser screen, an immersive 4DX auditorium, and six mainstream screens. All auditoriums are equipped with all-laser projection and advanced sound systems, including Dolby 7.1 and IMAX’s proprietary immersive sound.

The cinema’s design embraces a contemporary aesthetic with vibrant colors, digital art, and premium finishes. The auditoriums are themed to match their formats, with bold colors for IMAX and 4DX, and elegant gold and blue palettes for the Insignia screens, which feature plush recliners.

A key highlight of the megaplex is the Insignia Lounge, a dedicated hospitality area with an open kitchen, a pool table, and gallery walls featuring artworks of Oscar-winning directors.
