Manjalpur-Atladara Railway Overbridge Nears Completion.

The Manjalpur-Atladara railway overbridge, a joint project by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) and Indian Railways, is nearing completion, with only final finishing touches remaining. The bridge is set to be inaugurated soon.

Construction began in 2023 and was initially scheduled for completion last year. However, delays pushed the timeline, and the project is now expected to be completed within a week.

The civic body was responsible for constructing the bridge’s spans and deck portions, while the railway authorities built the section over the railway tracks. Both agencies have completed their respective work.

Final tasks, including painting, laying paver blocks beneath the bridge, and other minor finishing touches, are in progress. Once completed, the ₹56 crore project will be officially inaugurated.
