LTTS Secures €45 Million Contract from French Auto Giant FORVIA
L&T Technology Services (LTTS), a leading engineering and R&D services provider, has signed a €45 million contract with FORVIA, a French global automotive supplier based in Nanterre, near Paris. The agreement will involve LTTS providing engineering development services to support FORVIA's Clean Mobility division.
Under the five-year partnership, approximately 300 engineers from FORVIA's facilities in Augsburg, Germany, and Bangalore, India, have been transferred to LTTS. This transition was highly successful, achieving a 95% transfer rate, ensuring that the technical expertise and skill set of these teams remain intact. These engineers will continue to focus on internal combustion engine-related engineering activities as part of LTTS, according to a statement from the company.
Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director of L&T Technology Services, remarked on the significance of the collaboration: "Our partnership with FORVIA demonstrates our expertise in the transportation and automotive industry. It also reaffirms our commitment to advancing both traditional engine technologies and innovative solutions for ultra-low emissions and clean mobility."
FORVIA, the world's seventh-largest automotive technology supplier, operates 260 industrial sites and 78 R&D centers, employing over 150,000 people, including 15,000 R&D engineers across more than 40 countries. This new contract with LTTS marks a strategic move for both companies, emphasizing a shared focus on sustainable mobility and cutting-edge automotive engineering.
