IT services major LTIMindtree has been awarded the Insight 2.0 project by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) to develop an artificial intelligence–powered system aimed at modernising India’s national tax analytics platform.
The contract, valued at approximately ₹3,000 crore, will be executed over a period of seven years. Under the mandate, LTIMindtree will build a next-generation analytics framework designed to enhance data-driven decision-making and provide real-time insights to policymakers.
In a statement, the company said the win underscores its leadership in driving large-scale digital transformation through advanced digital architecture and data analytics capabilities.
The latest contract adds to LTIMindtree’s growing portfolio of government technology projects. In 2023, the company had secured the PAN 2.0 project from the Income Tax Department, further strengthening its role in the modernisation of India’s tax administration systems.
