IL&FS bags order worth ₹149 cr.

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd. has received a Letter of Intent from Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. for rural electrification works in Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh.

The ₹149.22 crore turnkey order is under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana and is to be completed in 12 months from the date of issue of the order.

This project is funded by REC under the Eleventh Plan Programme. IL&FS Engineering is executing several such rural electrification projects in UP and West Bengal.
