Hosmat Plans 150–200 New Beds, Targets Tier-2 Expansion Amid 20–30% Revenue Growth.

Bengaluru-based Hosmat Hospitals is set to expand its footprint, with plans to add 150–200 beds over the next five years and move into tier-2 Karnataka markets including Mangaluru, Mysuru and Karwar. The growth strategy includes setting up community clinics as well as developing a new hospital outside the state capital.

The healthcare network, which currently operates three hospitals with a combined capacity of 550 beds, is targeting annual revenue growth of 20–30 per cent, supported by the performance of its newest facility. Alongside geographical expansion, Hosmat is bolstering its rapidly growing home-care services and introducing additional specialities, while continuing to remain privately held.

“We want to go deeper into Karnataka before expanding nationally. The aim is to bring care closer to people instead of them travelling long distances,” said Anisha Chandy Eckardt, Managing Director of Hosmat Hospitals.
