Himachal Pradesh: Union Minister Tamta Reviews Four-Lane Highway Construction in Bilaspur.

Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Ajay Tamta, conducted a field inspection of the under-construction four-lane road at Nauni Junction in Bilaspur recently.

The minister reviewed the progress of the project and discussed the challenges being faced by locals, including issues related to land acquisition. He also inquired about the damage caused to the four-lane road by recent heavy rains in the district.

During the inspection, Tamta instructed officials to ensure immediate repairs on all affected roads leading to Shimla to prevent any inconvenience to commuters.

Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar, Sub-divisional Magistrate Rajdeep Singh, and other officials from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) were also present at the site.
